• Stephan Eicke

    FOUNDER

    Stephan Eicke was editor-in-chief of the European film music magazine Cinema Musica for nearly ten years. In 2019, his book “The Struggle Behind the Soundtrack” was published by McFarland. It carefully examines the current working conditions for composers in the media. In 2022, his second book was published by McFarland, “The Unfilmable Confederacy of Dunces” about the attempts to turn John Kennedy Toole’s novel into a feature film. He is the co-founder of Caldera Records and produces the CD-releases from the first until the very last step in production.

  • John Elborg

    FOUNDER

    John Elborg is co-founder of and executive producer for Caldera Records. In 2005, he took over First Floor Entertainment from Richard Kummerfeldt and thus became the CEO of Alhambra Records, a subsidiary of First Floor and devoted exclusively to recent German soundtracks and Italian classics. In 2013, John Elborg also co-founded Torus, a label which is specialized in (instrumental) electronic music. Over the years, he has produced hundreds of albums.

  • Luis Miguel Rojas

    DESIGNER

    Born in Peru but based in Argentina, Luis Miguel Rojas has been the art director for renowned record labels specialized in film music, among which Caldera Records stands out since he designed the artwork for each of their CD releases. His passion for film soundtracks began in the 90s and is precisely the impulse and motivation to give his best in every design project. He is also the founder of the Film Music Fans Association in Argentina.

  • Richard Moore

    MASTERING ENGINEER

    Richard Moore has worked with sound for as long as he can remember. He has worked as a freelance restoration and remastering engineer since 2006 and worked with record labels such as Universal, Warner, EMI, Silva Screen, Jasmine, Cherry Red, and Seelie Court. Plus his own small label Mint Audio Records and of course Caldera. He transfers material from many obsolete formats and has been instrumental in rescuing tape and disc archives of artists as diverse as Roy Budd, Peter Skellern, Matt Monro, Flanders and Swann and Neil Innes. He first worked with Caldera on the reissue of Roy Budd’s Wild Geese 2, following on from his mastering and restoration work on Roy’s classic Phantom of the Opera soundtrack for Sylvia Budd.
